ANDREW HORSFORD is performing for his tenth and final season with OpenStage Theatre and Company. For the past decade, Andrew has had the incredible opportunity to share the thrilling experience of live theatre with the loving and supporting community that is Fort Collins. He has enjoyed delving into his comedic roles with several light-hearted characters in such shows as The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, Moon Over Buffalo, 15-Minute Hamlet, Enchanted April, Saint Joan and Dirty Blonde. He also had the opportunity to explore the darker side of humanity with the more ominous characters from Raised In Captivity and Extremities and, most recently, as Dr. Sweet in Bug. In the middle of this wide spectrum, Andrew has found the most challenging and rewarding roles to be those somewhat tortured souls from the productions of Proof, The Maiden's Prayer and now, finally, Brilliant Traces. Taking his cue from the theatre of life, Andrew is going to take a break from acting and focus on keeping up with his three-and-a-half-year-old son, Felix. (And, perhaps he will finally learn how to play his guitar!) He would like to express his profound appreciation to each and every member of OpenStage Theatre & Company for their love, friendship, and shared enthusiasm for the magical world of theatre.
