A World Premiere Production!
Every deity must complete a thesis project to earn a license to create. God, the brightest (and most arrogant) student in his class, grew his project without the use of a standard template and developed his Harvey Smith and the Earth around him from scratch. To further demonstrate his genius, God’s Harvey Smith is a writer who has created a Harvey (Treehorn) of his own. How will God be graded? What will happen to Earth when God has moved on? And what will free will do to the hapless Harvey Smith? Dave Ulrich's playful and uniquely original new script provides delightful twists and surprising revelations as it pits salvation against self-destruction in humanity’s age-old search for knowledge, love, and acceptance.
Dave Ulrich was born in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a degree in Theatre. He lived in Prague for several years, working as an actor with Misery Loves Company and Black Box theatre. He also has appeared in several small films including “The Beautician and the Beast” and “Danielle Steele’s The Ring, an NBC made-for-television movie. At present, Mr. Ulrich resides in Los Angeles, where he writes commercials “in the daytime because we all have to survive.” He has penned over forty short plays, two one-act plays, two full-length plays, and one short film, and is currently developing a television pilot.
