Each of the six productions of OpenStage regular season can have up to four Underwriters
($1,000 each). Underwriters can choose to fund The Acting Company, Student Preview Night
(free to students), the Scenic Elements of the production, or the Costuming Elements of
the production.
Advertising Exposure
- Each Underwriter's logo is prominently displayed on first inside page of the playbill
for its selected production. In addition, Underwriter logos are printed inside each playbill
for the entire season.
- Each Underwriter is thanked from the stage prior to each performance of their selected
production.
- All Underwriters receive a patron listing in the playbill for the entire season and
are recognized as primary sponsors in information distributed to other funding sources.
- All Underwriters are listed on the OpenStage Theatre website.
A Ticket Bonus for Underwriters
- Each Underwriter receives 20 complimentary tickets, each good for any performance of
the season.
OpenStage Theatre could not afford to produce the prize-winning shows our audiences
have come to expect without the invaluable donations of our Patrons. The cost of tickets
accounts for only a fraction of the total expense of our excellent and entertaining
theatrical productions. In fact, if OpenStage Theatre were to modestly cover the real
expense of productions and administration through ticket revenue alone, individual tickets
would cost over $100 each!
